We were talking about how much we use to love McDonald’s filet-o-fish back in the day, but how the quality seems to have dropped. (Or we just grew up.) So, we decided to make our own grown-up version, using a tempura batter with cod fish. We used this recipe to make the batter, substituting a clove of minced garlic for the garlic powder. We also doubled it. It was McGood.
